Case Manager is part of the software installed together with the new XE-5000 Sysmex analyser and allows extending the reporting capabilities of the analyser with clinical case information. Case Manager is designed to assist clinicians and lab workers in the correct understanding of the results obtained in the haematology laboratories.
The software allows a consolidated view of a positive case, including the overall condition of the diagnosed patient, in-depth information about the disease in general, and recommendations and guidance for further interventions.

Main Functionalities

• Case Manager interacts with the user in the lab, as well as with the clinician;
• For each result that is received, a set of rules is executed, in order to detect samples that match the criteria of a case;
• When a positive case is identified, the Case Manager Server sends out a notification to the Case Manager Client, to alert the lab user.
