Job Description
As an Account Executive focused on Expansion, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging new contacts within our current customer base, driving revenue growth, and maximizing customer retention and account value.
Objectives of this role
- Proactively identify and target new contacts and decision-makers within our existing customer base, exploring untapped markets and expansion opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth by successfully closing deals with new contacts and expanding our market presence within the existing Enterprise customer segment.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Renewals and Upsell Account Managers and Customer Success, to ensure seamless handover and support for customers throughout the sales process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned existing accounts, nurturing strong relationships, and serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for our customers.

Responsibilities
Activities will include:
- Conduct thorough research to identify new contacts and decision-makers within our current customer base, exploring untapped markets and expansion opportunities.
- Engage with potential customers through proactive outreach, product demonstrations, and tailored presentations showcasing the value and benefits of our product to meet their specific needs.
- Qualify leads from existing customers and identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue growth and expansion within the assigned account portfolio.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, industry trends, and competitive offerings to provide valuable insights to prospects and customers.
- Collaborate with the Renewals and Upsell Account Manager to ensure a smooth handover and consistent support for customers throughout their journey.
- Utilize CRM systems to accurately track and manage all customer interactions and sales activities.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the leadership team, highlighting expansion opportunities and progress.
- Provide valuable customer insights and market demands to the Product team to contribute to product enhancements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales within Enterprise space, preferably in a software or technology company, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of sales and negotiation techniques, with the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition to new contacts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with prospects and customers at all levels.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Comfortable conducting software demonstrations to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ability to accurately maintain and manage customer data.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with project management or timeline software is a plus.
- Fluent in written and oral English.
- Flexible hours to stay connected with the US team – work to 1PM PST (Seattle) min 3 days a week.
