On August 25th we had with us, at RomSoft – Andrei Postolache, for our 5th Community Talks edition, a conversation about self-motivation and self-determination.

Andrei started out as a software developer, moving to management and senior management and then on his own as a management and leadership consultant. He is founder of two start-ups, Xeriously and Introspecials. In his trainings, books and videos he covers leadership, communication, emotional intelligence, business agility and agile delivery.
A few notes
As for the theme of our recent meeting, there were quite a few valuable ideas to take home, like the fact that professional life is packed with the most human challenges, and while nobody owes us anything, life will uncover its opportunities if we dig for them. But besides the oldest advice in the book, that is to know yourself – I won’t say more. I highly encourage you to follow Andrei’s LinkedIn and YouTube pages in order to see what he’s made of. What is Community Talks
After two years of remote work, we feel the need to, once in a while, get together and learn about inspiring stories from our line of work or from our community that are relevant to us.
With this idea in mind, we created this program that we called Community Talks. It is part of our larger discussion about tech storytelling and how to have better conversations in our everyday work.
Once a month, we want to invite somebody from outside RomSoft to share with us an inspiring story, or just to have an interesting conversation, be it in the technical area or anything else that we have a shared interest. Our guests will play the role of the Guide to any good story, helping us navigate through difficult challenges, acquire new skills and understand where the opportunities lie in this rapidly changing world.
