Last Thursday, the RomSoft office was filled with more than just the usual buzz of our traditional Board Games Night – it echoed with laughter and excitement of little voices, as we hosted a special edition, welcoming employees together with their children for an evening of lighthearted competition and bonding.

From classic favorites like Twister, Exploding Kittens and Piticot, to more strategic games like Catan Junior or Chess, there was something for everyone. Kids teamed up with parents and colleagues, turning the workspace into a playful arena where creativity and cooperation ruled.
Captivating puzzles and coloring books were also a high of the evening, at least until pizza time, when we took a break to get everyone re-energized. It wasn’t just about winning — it was about sharing laughs, getting our kids to reconnect, and seeing our office in a new, family-friendly light.

Family in the Work Culture
This simple gathering reminded us of the importance and the joy of including family in our work culture. After all, the best teams don’t just work well together – they play well together too.
By integrating families into our occasional work events, we want to bridge the gap between professional and personal life, reinforcing that the two are not always perfectly separate, but this has some advantages, too, as long as we maintain a fair balance.
Providing Kids with a Positive View of Work
When our kids visit our workplace in a fun and welcoming context, we aim to demystify the office where we go everyday, and hope to create a lasting positive impression about work and careers.
In short, events that involve our team members and their children are not just fun – we view them as a strategic investment in morale, culture, and long-term engagement.
