About our guest
Marius Lupu is Transformational Engineer and Founder at BBW Solutions, where he consults on scaling and transforming software products in a process that merges business with product and technology.
Marius has over two decades of experience in technology, during which time he has managed to cover all aspects of commercial software development.
He has worked in three industries: automotive, media and publishing, has experimented with both Waterfall and Agile development processes, has worked in very large corporations as well as medium and small companies, has witnessed three acquisitions, and has been part of multicultural environments between American and Indian Silicon Valley with a focus on Europe.
Beyond the tech background of over 20 years, Marius is a gifted storyteller, a character feature that comes in handy when one needs to evangelize ideas and disseminate concepts. Whenever asked, he will be happy to share his experience as a mentor and use his people skills to fuel collaboration within teams and get everyone on the same page.

What is Community Talks
After (almost) three years of remote work, we feel the need to, once in a while, get together and learn about inspiring stories from our line of work or from our community that are relevant to us.
With this idea in mind, we created a program called Community Talks. It is part of our larger discussion about tech storytelling and how to have better conversations in our everyday work.
Once a month, we want to invite somebody from outside RomSoft to share with us an inspiring story, or just to have an interesting conversation, be it in the technical area or anything else that we have a shared interest in.
Our guests will play the role of the Guide to any good story, helping us navigate through difficult challenges, acquire new skills, and understand where the opportunities lie in this rapidly changing world.
