INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE – A Natural Approach to Healthcare

On November 9th, for our 14th Community Talks meeting, we had our first encounter with a physician, so we came prepared with lots of questions.

Our guest was Dr. Codrina Spiratos, who introduced us to notions like integrative and regenerative medicine, making the case for ozone-based procedures that can be complementary to classic therapies.

Ozone therapy is a complementary treatment that introduces ozone into the body to help with the healing process. Worldwide, ozone has been shown to bring benefits to the immune system. Ozone therapy has been and continues to be used in European clinics and hospitals for over fifty years.

About our guest

Codrina Spiratos is a General Practitioner. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy “Gr. T. Popa” in Iasi in 1997. Her love for nature and her personal experiences shaped her professional path and made her choose, from the very beginning, naturopathic medicine. Dr. Spiratos followed her medical studies with a master’s degree in nutrition, as she wanted to complete her knowledge of treating patients with chronic diseases. When she discovered oxygen-ozone therapy, hydrocolon therapy, platelet enriched plasma therapy and posturology, she finally felt that she had all the necessary tools to help all her patients, from children to grandparents.

What is Community Talks

After (almost) three years of remote work, we feel the need to, once in a while, get together and learn about inspiring stories from our line of work or from our community that are relevant to us.

With this idea in mind, we created a program called Community Talks. It is part of our larger discussion about tech storytelling and how to have better conversations in our everyday work.

Once a month, we want to invite somebody from outside RomSoft to share with us an inspiring story, or just to have an interesting conversation, be it in the technical area or anything else that we have a shared interest in.

Our guests will play the role of the Guide to any good story, helping us navigate through difficult challenges, acquire new skills, and understand where the opportunities lie in this rapidly changing world.
