Office Timeline Online
Office Timeline Online is a cloud-based timeline and Gantt chart maker that helps project managers create and share native PowerPoint slides right in their browser. The online tool has been developed by RomSoft following the success of the on-premise Office Timeline add-in for PowerPoint.
Project managers were already enjoying the professional designs and time-saving features of the Office Timeline PowerPoint add-in, but as the market grew, customers began asking for a similar timeline maker that can be accessed anywhere and works on both Windows and Mac computers.
The Office Timeline co-founders considered creating a web-based tool that would work in any browser on any operating system, with no installation or download required, and tasked RomSoft to make this happen.

The strategic partnership between RomSoft and Office Timeline was expanded, and a separate development team was built to develop and launch this web-based app, which uses different technologies than the Windows-based Office Timeline add-in. This product is now called Office Timeline Online.
The new timeline maker quickly became a hit with Mac users, who were unable to install the add-in on their computers, but also with professionals who had restricted rights on their computers. With Office Timeline Online, they can create project timelines quickly and access them from anywhere since all they need is an internet connection and a browser.
In addition, the web-based tool helps project managers share and collaborate online easily with options to create view-only links to their timelines and assign project tasks to individual team members. In the end, users enjoy the best of both worlds as they can also download and save their timelines as a PowerPoint slide anytime.
